1.10.2008 -- Russian Exports Going Strong

Teräselementti’s Russian exports are going strong.

In November, Teräselementti Oy will begin delivering steel frames to an American-owned, multinational company that manufactures health and hygiene products in north-western Russia. QuattroGemini Ltd is the commissioner of the project with which Teräselementti signed an agreement in mid-September.

Deliveries will continue until next spring, and the frame installations are to be finished in May 2008. Teräselementti is delivering the plant’s supporting roof structures, beam structures for the intermediate levels and the supporting roofing sheet profiles, all of which include installation. The total amount of steel to be delivered is approximately 900 tons.

Teräselementti is an experienced partner in Russia; we also have export operations with the Baltic countries and Scandinavian countries. We made our first exports as early as 1968.
